Study Italian online

If you want to study Italian on your own, you can take online courses. Studying online is different from going to a course in a school, but it can be useful if you don’t have the time, if you can’t find courses close to where you live, or if you still want to practice to improve your level of Italian. Many of these courses are free and very good. You can access from your computer, as well as your mobile phone.

L’Italiano in famiglia

This is an online Italian course for foreigners in Italy who cannot take Italian language lessons in person. The course has two parts:

• Path 1 (A1/A2)
  per persone che studiano l’italiano per la prima volta,
• Path 2 (B1/B2)
  for people with basic knowledge of italian.

The course has 35 video lessons with exercises. The material is complete, but the explanations are all in Italian.

Loecsen

This course teaches common expressions and vocabulary. The lessons focus on the Italian you need to communicate in various contexts – for example: in a bar, on vacation, or with the family. The course does not explain grammar. The material is available in various Asian, European, and Middle Eastern languages.
