It was created to have a CV type that is the same for all European countries, but it is not used much outside Europe. The main feature of this template is to highlight as much as possible the quantity and duration of your professional experiences, your studies, and your training. It is very useful if you have little work experience because the structure of the CV tends to highlight them a lot.
